Mayan Living Real Estate began in 2000 in Merida, Yucatan and is one of the most respected and successful real estate companies in the area. The company is owned by partners Doug & Teresa Willey and Sean & Susan Randall.

Doug & Teresa are originally from Laurel, Delaware USA and have lived in Mexico for six years. Doug and Teresa currently live in Chelem, Yucatan. They moved to Playa del Carmen in 2003 and worked in real estate sales at one of the largest resorts in the area. They also spent a year on the island of San Pedro in Belize. Doug and Teresa bring a wealth of knowledge and sales experience to Mayan Living.

Sean & Susan are from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and have lived in Mexico for two years. Sean and Susan also live in Chelem, Yucatan. They have traveled extensively on the west coast of Mexico before settling here in the Yucatan in 2007. Their experience lies with selling real estate, building, renovation and project management here in Mexico.

Doug Willey
Co-owner of Mayan Living I was born and raised in Delaware.. There I worked as a union millwright/welder and also owned an antique store. My wife and I moved to Mexico in 2003 where we worked in sales at one of the larger resorts in Playa Del Carmen. We also have spent a year on the island of San Pedro in Belize selling real estate. We have lived full-time in Chelem for the past few years and love the Yucatan, the people are fabulous here! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding real estate or the area! Scott Wormwood
Scott Wormwood, born in New Hampshire has lived in Tampa, Miami and New Orleans before moving to Merida in 1991. I began working in the tourist and hotel industry, traveling with tourists from the ancient Maya ruins of Palenque in Chiapas, Mexico to Copan in Honduras. I have managed hotels in Playa del Carmen (Maya Rivera) and Mahaual (Costa Maya) in Quintana Roo. I was the coordinator of an elder hostel program in Izamal, Yucatan for four years. I have also managed vacation rental properties in Merida. Most recently I have served as a re-location specialist in helping people making the move to Merida. I bring my nineteen years of living in the Yucatan to Mayan Living Real Estate to help you find your dream home here in Mexico.

Policies
We would be pleased to show you our properties and help you find your new home here in Merida.
We need to have at least a one day notice to schedule appointments for showings, and would prefer as much advanced notice as possible.
We will be happy to pick you up at the Merida International airport or at your Merida hotel or guesthouse and provide transportation to the listed properties. During this process we will provide information and consultation regarding closing and will refer you to a very competent bilingual attorney or accountant for advice regarding property ownership here in the Yucatan. We will be happy to provide references upon request.
